Scouts test their skills in the outdoors by pulling their gear around in a sled and tackling challenges. Challenges include knot tying, team building, first aid, and shelter building. 

This event is typically held in January at Camp Norse in Kingston, MA and is attended by older scouts who have learned the necessary skills.

In March we have our annual pinewood derby races. Scouts and siblings race their derby cars to see who has the fastest car. Top 5 move on to regional races.

Scouts will learn archery.  This date is TBD, and is typically reserved for older scouts who have the strength to draw a bow.

The fishing derby is generally held at the May camping trip. Prizes are awarded for the biggest fish and the most fish caught.

This is one of the fun adventures that we have been on and will be planning as the opportunity arises.
